MusePin is a fashion styling and social platform. We are committed to protecting children and maintaining a safe environment. These published standards describe how we prevent, detect, and respond to child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
1. Zero tolerance
MusePin has zero tolerance for CSAE and CSAM. We prohibit any content, behaviour, or conduct that sexualises, exploits, endangers, or otherwise harms minors. Violations result in immediate content removal, account suspension or permanent ban, and reporting to appropriate authorities where required by law.
2. Who may use MusePin
MusePin is not intended for children under 13. Users must be at least 13 years of age. We do not knowingly permit accounts that target or groom minors. Accounts believed to belong to users under 13 are removed.
3. Prohibited content and conduct
The following are strictly forbidden on MusePin:
- CSAM or any visual depiction of a minor in a sexual or exploitative context
- Grooming, solicitation, or sexualisation of minors
- Content that facilitates trafficking or exploitation of children
- Sharing, requesting, or directing users to CSAE material on or off the platform
- Impersonation of minors or adults targeting minors for harmful purposes
- Harassment, threats, or abuse directed at minors
4. Prevention and moderation
We use a combination of technical and human measures to reduce risk:
- Community reporting on outfits, profiles, and images
- Review of user-submitted reports by our team
- Account and content removal for confirmed or strongly suspected violations
- Firestore security rules and access controls to limit unauthorised data access
We continuously improve our safety practices as our platform grows.
5. Reporting child safety concerns in the app
Users can report child safety concerns directly in MusePin:
- Open the outfit or image you wish to report
- Tap the menu (⋯) and choose Report
- Select Child safety concern or another appropriate reason
- Submit the report
Reports are stored securely and reviewed by our team. For urgent matters, also contact us using the email below.
6. Reporting to authorities
Where we obtain actual knowledge of CSAM or CSAE on our service, we act in accordance with applicable child safety laws. This includes preserving relevant evidence and reporting to regional and national authorities as required, such as:
- United States: National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline
- European Union / UK: National law enforcement and INHOPE member hotlines where applicable
- Other regions: Local police or designated child protection agencies
We cooperate with law enforcement and lawful requests related to child safety investigations.
7. Designated child safety contact
Our designated point of contact for child safety, CSAM prevention practices, and compliance inquiries is ready to respond to reports and regulator questions:
Email: ionut.oprea011@gmail.com
Include as much detail as possible (URLs, usernames, screenshots, and timestamps) so we can investigate quickly.
8. User responsibilities
All users must comply with these standards and applicable law. Do not upload, share, or solicit prohibited content. If you see a child safety issue, report it in the app and contact us immediately.
9. Updates
We may update these standards to reflect legal, policy, or product changes. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when updates are published.
